First Base - Class 101
Introduction to Cornerstone

This course is conducted over four Sunday evenings. It will provide the opportunity to examine your own spiritual commitment and to have those questions answered that you have always wanted to ask. You will be exposed to the beliefs, history, mission and vision of Cornerstone. The first session from 4:30-7:30 p.m. features a powerpoint presentation and includes a fellowship dinner. The next three sessions from 6:00-8:00 p.m. provide opportunities for discussion and small group interaction. If you are considering church membership, First Base is a necessary first step.

Second Base - Class 201
Spiritual Maturity

This course is conducted on three Sunday evenings. It includes powerpoint presentations and small group discussions. It is designed to help each believer develop the spiritual disciplines that are essential for maturity in Jesus Christ. They include worship, time in God's word, fellowship, tithing and prayer. (First Base must be completed prior to attending Second Base.)

Third Base - Class 301
Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts

This course is conducted on two Sunday evenings. The scriptures confirm that each Believer in Christ has received spiritual gifts that are to be used to build up the body of Christ. When these gifts are identified and their place in the body is discovered, great joy and a passion for doing God's work is the result. We will identify each spiritual gift that is listed in the Bible and help each person identify those that are operative in their life. You will know where you "fit in" to the ministry of Christ here at Cornerstone. Individual interviews will help you determine where your spiritual gift(s) can become a part of the ministry of Christ here at Cornerstone Church.

Home Run - Class 401
The Great Commission

This course is conducted on six Sunday evenings. The joy of being part of the process of helping lost friends, co-workers or family members come to faith in God cannot be overstated. This course will help us understand how to live a lifestyle that will open doors for sharing the love of Jesus in a non-threatening natural way with those around us - "Becoming a Contagious Christian." We will see the importance of serving, praying and interacting with people so they will want to know "the reason for the hope you have" (I Peter 3:15)
