Introduction to Cornerstone

This course is conducted over four Sunday evenings. It will provide the opportunity to examine your own spiritual walk and to learn about the mission, ministries and vision of Cornerstone. The first session from 4:30-7:30 p.m. features a powerpoint presentation and includes a fellowship dinner. The next three sessions from 6:00-8:00 p.m. provide opportunities for discussion and small group interaction. If you are considering church membership, First Base is a necessary first step.

Second Base
Spiritual Maturity

This course is conducted on three Sunday evenings (6:00 - 8:00). It includes powerpoint presentations and small group discussions. It is designed to help each believer develop the spiritual disciplines that are essential for maturity in Jesus Christ. They include worship, time in God's word, fellowship, tithing and prayer.

Third Base
Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts

This course is conducted one or more Sunday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:30. The scriptures confirm that each Believer in Christ has received spiritual gifts that are to be used to build up the body of Christ. When these gifts are identified and their place in the body is discovered, excitement and a passion for doing God's work is the result. We will identify each spiritual gift that is listed in the Bible and help each person identify those that are operative in their life. You will know where you "fit in" to the ministry of Christ here at Cornerstone. Individual interviews will help you determine where your spiritual gift(s) can become a part of the ministry of Christ here at Cornerstone Church.

Home Run
The Great Commission

This course is conducted on four Sunday evenings (6:00 - 8:30). The study we have selected for this important last class in the series is titled "Becoming a Contagious Christian". We will learn how to live a lifestyle that will open doors for sharing the love of Jesus in a non-threatening natural way with those around us. We will see the importance of serving, praying and interacting with people so they will want to know "the reason for the hope you have" (I Peter 3:15)
