At Cornerstone, we believe that everyone should look forward to attending church. Our service is relaxed, informal, contemporary and upbeat. Our programming is fun, constructive and designed to connect God with your everyday life.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

Infants & Toddlers
Infant (0-18 months) and Toddler (18 months - 2 yrs) nurseries available during both 9:00 and 10:30 services.

The Cornerstone Construction Zone
3-5 year olds meet at both the 9:00 and 10:30 services.

Kindergarten through 5th grade meets from 10:30 to 11:30.

Cornerstone Preschool
Cornerstone Preschool Inc. provides children ages 3-5 with age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote growth, development and discovery. It incorporates Bible stories so children will not only learn basic concepts but will hear of Christ's love, power and faithfulness.

ADULT MINISTRIES

Team Life
Many adult groups meet to help encourage and support believers in their walk with God.

Home Run
Cornerstone's Home Run Series features four separate classes: First, Second, Third and Home Base. Each class is designed to deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ, otherwise known as "discipleship." After completing "First Base" you can consider becoming a member of the church.

Counseling
One-to-one biblical-based marriage and family counseling. Contact the church office for more information.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Cornerstone Fields
Cornerstone's softball fields host games and practices for many different teams including boys and girls little league, tournaments, and its own men's and women's league.

Boy Scouts / Cub Scouts
Scouting offers young people responsible fun and adventure. It instills in young people lifetime values and develops in them ethical character. It trains young people in citizenship, service, and leadership and also serves America's communities and families with its quality, values-based program.

Hosted Events
Cornerstone opens its doors to a variety of congregational and community groups and events. Some of these include the following:

Mexico Mission Trips
Helping to rebuild the homes and lives of those who suffered great loss.

Youth For Christ
The mission of Youth for Christ is to participate in the body of Christ in responsible evangelism of youth, presenting them with the person, work and teachings of Christ and discipling them into the local church.

Bible League
We support a church planter training program in India run by The Bible League. The Bible League is called by God to provide Scriptures and training worldwide, so that people prepared by the Holy Spirit will be brought into the fellowship of Christ and His Church.

The Least of These
Visiting those in nursing homes with no family & friends nearby.

Living Alternatives Crisis Pregnancy Center
Helping moms in crisis choose life.

The Salvation Army
Donating to the Food Pantry and helping others to get back on their feet.

The Gateway Coalition
The Gateway Coalition is an interdenominational ministry committed to uniting the churches of the greater Kankakee area in outreach to God's people.

Samaritan's Purse & Operation Christmas Child
This program provides an opportunity for people to be involved in a hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Chris, God's greatest gift.
