Church Staff Meet the cast of Cornerstone:
![]() Bob Grysen Sometimes people ask me, "What kind of church are you?" There are a lot of ways to answer that question but the best answer is we're a church that connects the disconnected and builds the believer, which by the way, is one of the ways we express our mission. Another way to answer that question is something I heard people say about us all the time. They say we seem to be "normal" and "genuine." I don't know exactly what they mean, but I think it's a compliment! We are a unique and wonderful bunch of people. For 13 years we have put our hearts, time and finances into carrying out the mission of Christ. Over those years we have seen many people come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, we have grown in every way churches grow and we have loved people in Jesus name in countless ways. I am thankful for each and every one of you and I am blessed to be the Pastor of this family. In Christ,
![]() Rodney Franklin 1968 — "It was the best of times and the worst of times." It was the year that I responded to the call of God on my life and the same year that I left my family to serve in Vietnam. My fellow pilots thought this "Christian thing" was a fad that I would soon get over. Well it's been 40 years — 40 exciting years and I am not over it yet — and by the grace of God, I never will be. Looking back, life has not been easy but I have never felt alone. Jesus promises that "He will never leave or forsake us". Now, after serving at Cornerstone for the last four years, I can say that this has been the most positive and productive years that I have had in the church. I have seen more individuals come to faith in Jesus Christ in these last four years than I saw in the prior thirty-six years in the church. What a saviour! Rod Franklin

![]() Mary Beth Dorsey Dear Family and Friends, Here at Cornerstone Church and Preschool we strive for a Christ-centered experience for your children. Our dedicated staff and well developed programs like 252 Sunday School for grades K - 5 and Little People's Church for ages 3 - 5 makes your child's experience here very memorable. Cornerstone Preschool began in 2003. With more and more interest, I see many more children in our community having a Christ centered preschool experience in the years to come. While learning the basics to get ready for Kindergarten, Christ will be at the center making for a "bright beginning" for your child. Mary Beth Dorsey
